No matter if you think you qualify or not, you should apply for financial aid every year. If you do not qualify one year, you might qualify the next one.
As a student, you can apply for Federal Government Aid, including Pell Grant or Perkins Loan or any other students' loan, you need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application. There is no extra fees or charge to apply fo this type of Aid. You can also watch 5-minute FAFSA Video to get to know more. Please, review the information about deadlines for FAFSA. Also, do not forget to gather all the necessary documents in order to apply for FAFSA. The IRS Form will show you the lines of your income tax returns thatcorrespond to each line of the FAFSA form (see below):
